Vaca: Alone with the Brain
So, since 8 AM or so on Tuesday, I am now off for a consecutive five days. Mmmm.
* I looked into getting a last minute reservation in P-town for a couple of nights. I have not yet made any phone calls because I can already tell I'm going to be laughed at. We'll see if I do anything other than just go for the day.
* Went to Staples and mooched around a bit. I'm considering getting a cheap but nice leather office desk chair. $40 or so and it comes assembled? Sign me up. Bought something I'm calling a "moveable type" stamp: "Up to 6 lines of text, change or update anytime." My dad had one when he was a kid, probably still does. I don't know what he used it for but I'm probably going to play around with it for a craft project... likely with TopStoryLive Business Cards. Watch for them around your area.
* Instead of taking a real vacation this week I might just spend the money on a few redecorations. I'm finally buying poster frames for some posters and tourism maps of the big cities I know, to hang on the wall. I'm also planning a project for a wall in my living room that would include about 16 cheap 8.5"x11" frames and Internet pictures, inspired by the Fairly Oddparents image I have as my wallpaper at work. Then if I get the desk chair I'd put that in the bedroom, move the desk into the bedroom, then I'd have to get something to put the TV on. And then I could quit having to use the laptop at the kitchen table.
