Two AOL news items
STUD FARM: Convicted felon Heidi Fleiss is working on a brothel featuring "the sexiest men on earth. Women are going to love it."
GOODNIGHT CIGARETTE: The man who illustrated Goodnight Moon apparently was pictured holding a cigarette in his photograph in the book. Now, publisher HarperCollins has removed the cigarette, leaving Clement Hurd in a stupid pose without it. If you look at the pictures included from the New York Times/AOL News (or on the web site at the end of the entry), why couldn't they simply crop the picture at Hurd's clavicle? HarperCollins now says in future editions they will be using a different picture of the illustrator, without cigarette in hand. Can you say "goodnight moon"? Now, can you say "tempest in a teacup"?
People are divided on the issue, with even a web site devoted to the question, Goodnight Reality.com. Should there be smoke, or should the smoke be eliminated?
