Don't Care Government

Nicki Finke's LA Weekly: Columns: Deadline Hollywood: Dave the Brave makes me want to be a better human being and a better writer. Somehow this article makes me think of a quote in John Maxwell's REAL leadership series of books, specifically the Attitude 101 book: "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." Maybe it's the thing about George W. Bush reportedly wiping his glasses on Maria Pope's sweater without asking. He must have thought people working for the show (or essentially for him) are just there to help him out and don't care what happens to their clothes.
