This item's several days dated but worthy of note: Gay GOP group refuses to endorse Bush:

"Some will accuse us of being disloyal," [Log Cabin Republicans' Executive Director Patrick Guerriero] said. "However, it was actually the White House who was disloyal to the 1 million gay and lesbian Americans who supported him four years ago. Log Cabin's decision was made in response to the White House's strategic political decision to pursue a re-election strategy catered to the radical right."

District of Columbia City Councilman David Catania (R) goes further:

"The Republican's so-called big tent is a sham. There is no longer any place for gays and lesbians in the Republican Party," he said, adding that the administration's "reckless" fiscal policies further make the case against Bush.
