Searching for D.P. Murphy

Okay, I spent waaaaaaayyyyyyy too much time on the AOHell account tonight.

Part of my lengthy journey across the web tonight took me in curiosity to google Rudy Cheeks, a Providence public denizen, and to search for pictures of Morgana De Sade, a character on an old ABC comedic mystery-drama on Saturday nights that I loved when I was a kid called Murphy's Law, (IMDB) starring George Segal. Apparently Morgana De Sade (pronounce it DOO-SAYD or like the Marquis DUH-SAWED, however you choose) was played by Elizabeth Savage, who had three recurring roles on the soaps General Hospital, Loving, and Santa Barbara.

All I wanted was a picture of this actress who stuck in my mind and will go down in history as one of those.... oh, I don't know what you'd call them, character actors? .... that stuck out for me: Christopher Rich, Sam Anderson, Charles Rocket (naturally), Holland Taylor, Anthony Rapp, Valerie Mahaffey, and Ann Magnuson -- all people with distinctive looks, feels, and attitudes that they automatically bring to the table. A "Hey! That's THAT GUY!" type of reaction when you recognize him.

I have a feeling finding a picture of this woman is going to take a long time and minor sum of money. Unless I manage to find an old videotape with her on it at home.

I did find out through Google and newspaper articles that it sounds like she has turned to doing "PR for Jesus," of a sort, and producing television commercials pushing churches -- not any particular church but the concept thereof. There's also some Elizabeth Savage modeling/talent agency in Arizona that wants $395 to teach your kids how to be on television, when other talent agencies will train kids for free. (shrug)
