Panic

The only word that caught my eye as I clicked on the close button for the AOL Welcome screen was PANIC.

This is what it was linked to: Apple iBooks on sale for $50 each.

Used.

Steve Jobs must be wetting himself. To be sure, other people are: Associated Press, that diligent news source, reports a woman let fly rather than lose her place in line.

Somebody also used a folding chair as a weapon.

I clicked through and found Richmond.com's story by Caine O'Rear, called Moths to the Flame. Sensationalist or not, it goes into further detail about a stampede.... and the way the show-runners (and police) cocked things up.

How about taking a number out of a hat (1 to, say, 10,000) and whoever draws the numbers 1 to 1000 gets to be served first? Or something like that. Jeeeeeeezussssssssssss.

I hope to sh*t CNN got local packages of this. I'm sure they repackaged it nationally. I can hardly wait to see them.
