Ugh. I'm sick AGAIN.
I have a nasty feeling that I am doing this to myself. I have a theory. Tell me how ridiculous you think it is.
I got what appeared to be an infection back in November and December -- which may have been two different illnesses back to back -- but various things are in common with the December illness.
Now:
--Ridiculous fever (102 degrees at one point)
--Mad wicked sweats.
--Sore throat, possibly storage of mucus
--Short-lived stuffed-up nose
--Entire body aches
--Occasional hurling (to the degree of bringing up stomach acid) but nowhere near as much as December
--Some sort of delusions. Get a load of this. Yesterday whenever I was in bed I kept my down comforter on. And kept sweating like a pig. I said to myself "I've got to get rid of the comforter. I've got to wear just a sheet or something." I just wanted to lie in bed ALL DAY, I could barely do anything. Today I finally switched to a sheet and bedspread that was much lighter. AND SWEATED EVEN MORE. It's RIDICULOUS. Back came the comforter.
December:
--Sore throat, storage of mucus
--Plenty hurling, even after the bout of food poisoning
--Sickly feeling all over
But the weekend before the mucus started being stored -- both times -- I used my motorized $9.99 cheapo Nose Hair Trimmer. It looks like it's reducing the hair to a fine mist, for god's sake, not catching it all like it should. So my theory is that the hair is creating the infection. Isn't that gross?
Trust me, I've read more funnily offensive and graphic blogs.
